"Damanhur:
Initiation into the
City of Light"

Damanhur,
the City of Light, is an extraordinary community hidden at the foothills
of the Alps, 40 miles from the mystical city of Turin. Even among conscious
communities it is profoundly unique, being inspired by a vision for world
change that goes beyond our currently known sciences. Time Travel, Dream
Interpretation, Astral Projection, Sacred Dance, Esoteric Physics, music
and art are only a part of the disciplines taught for the initiate and
novice alike. Its profound artistic and spiritual expressions have culminated
in a secret Temple built inside of a mountain, hidden for over twenty
years and only revealed in the past decade.
This
Temple of Mankind has drawn pilgrims from Europe, Asia and most recently
the US. Equivalent to an 11 story building built within the mountain,
the Tempio d'Umo is constructed with three separate levels of meaning,
similar to the ancient Egyptian pyramids. As a vortex in the intersection
of four streams of Earth energy it is being used for healing as well as
a celebration to the many ways that the Divine has been worshipped throughout
time. In addition Damanhur produces their own textiles, food, money, newspaper,
radio station, constitution and governing systems, showing us an archetype
for the 21st century.
Four
years ago when I first visited Damanhur I was struck with a profound sense
of its sacredness. Every night I had lucid dreams that linked it to the
ancient caves of the gods and goddesses. While the influences are Universal,
they draw heavily from both Atlantean and Egyptian Mystery Schools. Like
a crack between the worlds, I dreamed of the Celtic goddess Brigit, of
Kal-Ma in the Hindu faith, of the Egyptian goddesses Sekmet, Bast, and
of Hathor of Egypt. Even the White Buffalo Calf Woman of the Native Americans
came to me there. I knew after only three days that I had to find out
what this place was really about, so over the last four years I have led
over seven pilgrimages into this profound Mystery School. What I have
discovered is mind blowing.
Damanhur
sits at the intersection of four synchronic lines, similar to the energy
lines we have come to know as Ley Lines or Dragon Lines, but more galactic.
It is said that in only one other place on the planet do four such lines
intersect ... Lahsa Tibet. In recent years geologists have visited the
city and discovered the existence of a rare mineral pervading the mountain
itself. This is called millenite and usually occurs at a depth of 42 kilometers
below ground. Only the pressure of two continental plates, the African
shelf and the Asian shelf, pushing against each other, can explain the
presence of so much of this rare material. Perhaps some of the power of
this place is in the vibrational field created from this meeting of Heaven
and Earth.
Damanhur
is an alchemical Mystery School and they have made real contact with the
Atlantean civilization from Earth's past. When the British magazine "Kindred
Spirits" did an article on them in 1995 they were granted an interview
with Falco, Damanhur's spiritual leader and one of the thirteen founding
visionaries. The article focused exclusively on Time Travel into the past,
present and future, something that the Damanhurians have had great success
with. While we were there, our tour guide, a physicist, shared with us
some of the civilizations they have visited. Needless to say, looking
at their incredible Temple construction, Egypt and Atlantis were among
them.
Damanhur
not only boasts a self-sustaining and independent economy, but is one
of the premiere stained glass artisans' studios in the world. Its clothing
textiles provide garments for name brand fashion designers from Milan,
Florence, Paris and New York. And within the Temple itself, its artistry
is breathtaking. Some of the best painters, sculptors, craftsmen, and
visionaries have come from places around the world to settle here and
create a vision and a vortex for world transformation. There is a sense
that what is being crafted is so timeless that it will be found centuries
from now by our descendants and they will wonder from whence it came.
The
Temple itself is indescribable. Deemed the 10th Wonder of the World by
the Italian government, who only discovered it in the early 90's, it has
become a magnet for travelers everywhere. Its high ceilings, enormous
paintings of the history of humankind from its cosmological origin to
the present, hidden doors, mosaic floors that suddenly descend into staircases,
symbolic geometric codes, ... are all energetic frequencies that speak
of an ancient language
that only our souls know. Selfica, the language of the 
gods,
sometimes called the language of light, is spoken, written and danced
within this community. Because of my own off-world contacts with beings
from the Galactic Councils, I knew as soon as I walked into certain rooms
that there had been extraterrestrial visitation in them. Reluctantly our
tour guide admitted this was so. Over the last four years I have discovered
this is just the tip of the iceberg.

by Damanhur is the magical city of Turin, long known as the City of Magic.
Part of the "white triangle" of magic and the "black triangle",
it is also the home to the second largest Egyptian museum in the world.
With over 30 statues of the goddess Sekmet, it is encoded to activate
the ancient initiate. Each time I visit Damanhur I feel as if I have come
away with another piece of myself. This is a true Mystery School, activating
a deepening inside each one of us and leaving us richer than before we
